DESCRIPTION:This training series includes Modules 2 and 3 of PACE Part 1.  (Providers must complete Module 1: Reflective Teaching before registering for Modules 2 and 3.) \n\n\n\nAll trainings in this series will take place live over Zoom on weekday evenings on the dates listed below.  Active participation and full attendance in all online trainings are required for credit: \n\n\n\nModule 2: ECE Then and Now (4-class series) \n\n\n\n\nWednesday evenings\n\n\n\n6:30-9 pm\n\n\n\nJune 17\, June 24\, July 1\, and July 8\, 2026\n\n\n\n\nModule 3: The Early Learning Profession (3-class series) \n\n\n\n\nTuesday evenings\n\n\n\n6:30-8:30 pm\n\n\n\nJuly 28\, Aug 4\, and Aug 11\, 2026\n\n\n\n\n\nPACE Modules are completed in order.  Participants must complete Module 1: Reflective Teaching and all prerequisites (Child Care Basics\, EQEL Year 1\, and EQEL Year 2) before beginning Modules 2 and 3.   \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nProvider Access to a Community Equivalent (PACE) is an option for some ECE roles who need the equivalent to an initial or short certificate (assistant teachers\, lead teachers\, or family home licensee.)  For more information about PACE\, visit the DCYF website.

Drawing from Finding Our Way Through Conflict: Strategies for Early Childhood Educators\, this class will support participants in recognizing conflict triggers\, understanding multiple perspectives\, and approaching disagreements with curiosity rather than defensiveness. Educators will gain tools for managing workplace conflict\, fostering healthy team dynamics\, and building respectful partnerships with families—even when perspectives differ.
