DESCRIPTION:PACE Part 2: Supporting Child Development & Wellness includes 20 hours of live online training divided into three Modules.  \n\n\n\nAll trainings in this series will take place live over Zoom on Weekday Evenings on the dates and times listed below: \n\n\n\nModule 1: Child Development (3-class series) \n\n\n\n\nThursday evenings from 6:30-8:30 pm\n\n\n\nSept 24\, Oct 1\, and Oct 8\, 2026.\n\n\n\n\nModule 2: Children and Families (4-class series) \n\n\n\n\nTuesday evenings from 6:30-8:30 pm\n\n\n\nOct 20\, Oct 27\, Nov 3\, and Nov 10\, 2026.\n\n\n\n\nModule 3: Child Wellness (3-class series) \n\n\n\n\nTuesday evenings from 6:30-8:30 pm\n\n\n\nDecember 1\, 8\, and 15\, 2026.\n\n\n\n\nPACE trainings include live online classes\, written assignments\, and job-embedded activities. Active participation and completion of all assignments are required for credit. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe PACE training series must be completed in order.  Before registering for PACE Part 2\, check your MERIT account and make sure you have completed and received credit for the following classes: \n\n\n\n\nChild Care Basics\n\n\n\nEnhancing Quality Early Learning (EQEL) Year 1 and Year 2\n\n\n\nPACE Part 1: The Field of Early Care & Education (Modules 1\, 2\, and 3)\n\n\n\n\n\n\nProvider Access to a Community Equivalent (PACE) is an option for some ECE roles who need the equivalent to an initial or short certificate (assistant teachers\, lead teachers\, or family home licensee.)  For more information about PACE\, visit the DCYF website.
