Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library Is Back in Thurston & Mason Counties!
Child Care Action Council is thrilled to announce that funding has been secured to officially resume Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library (DPIL) program for local families across Thurston and Mason Counties.
Through this program, registered children receive a free, high-quality, age-appropriate book delivered directly to their home every month from birth until their 5th birthday. Book deliveries officially resume in early September 2026.
We extend our deepest gratitude to DPIL of Washington and our generous funders whose support ensures that early literacy remains accessible to every young child in our region.
What This Means for Your Family
Previously Registered Families
If your child was enrolled in the program prior to the pause, no action is required. Your enrollment remains active, and your monthly book deliveries will automatically resume in early September.
New Families & Unenrolled Children
If you have a child aged 0 to 5 living in Thurston or Mason County who is not yet enrolled, we invite you to sign up today!
