About the Child Care Action Council Board
Serving on our Board of Directors is a meaningful way to get involved with Child Care Action Council. Our Board supports CCAC by setting the long-term strategic direction of the agency, raising and allocating funds, and setting policies for operation.

Board Members actively participate on a committee, attend and participate in agency events, support volunteer recruitment, fundraise, participate actively in Board decisions and carry out all delegated assignments. Board participation requires about 10 hours of volunteer time each month.

Benefits of Service
Serving on the Child Care Action Council Board offers an opportunity to work with a diverse and committed group of volunteers who play a crucial role in the agency’s success. The time and talent of our Board provides the leadership and resources necessary to connect families with care that meets their needs, while working with child care providers and community partners to make quality child care and early education a reality for all children in our communities.
