At Garfield Elementary School!

Fourteen stations and fifteen fun works of art will inspire little bodies to hop, skip, jump, or stretch up to the sky! Station markers with QR codes will take caregivers to on-line content that will offer more insight, education, fun, and games coinciding with each station theme.

This Sense of Place Walk installation celebrates the Child Care Action Council’s 35th Anniversary serving our wonderful communities and our Safe Kids Thurston County program’s 25th Anniversary!

We received great support from the Olympia School District and the City of Olympia, along with wonderful community partnerships to be discovered with station content pages!

Our program partners include

Intercity Transit’s Walk N Roll program and Thurston County Medic One

The Sense of Place was generously funded by The Washington Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Strategic Partnership Advisory Council
