This training is Year 2 of Enhancing Quality of Early Learning (EQEL). EQEL is a 20-hour training series completed over two years. The EQEL training series is available at no cost for providers hired or promoted after August 1, 2019 into a role that requires this training. EQEL Year 2 includes Part 1: Engaging Interactions and Environments, and Part 2: Positive Behavior Supports. This training series will be held live and online, 6:30-9 pm on Tuesdays, October 18 and November 1, 15, and 29, 2022. It will not be recorded. Active participations and full attendance in all 10 hours of EQEL Year 2 are required for STARS credit.
To receive STARS credit, you will be required to participate in this session by typing comments or participating in surveys, polls, and discussions. As a participant, you must be able to view the instructor and visuals aids. You will not be required to show yourself on camera, but it can be nice to have face-to-face contact. Tips for participating in the class will be emailed to you the week of the training. Requirements: stable internet access, audio via phone or speaker, and an email address.
- Registration is required 48 hours prior to class.
- Those arriving more than 15 minutes late will not receive a certificate or refund.
- Class cancellations will be posted on our training calendar, and registrants will be notified.
