First Steps into STEAM: Nurturing Curiosity in Toddlers
This class is designed for providers working with toddler-aged children. The class will explore the brain science behind STEAM learning (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) in the first three years, and how our youngest learners naturally engage with their environment in ways that promote early STEAM skills. Participants will learn how to create a STEAM-rich toddler environment that fosters curiosity through developmentally appropriate activities that focus on sensory exploration, experimentation, and inquiry-based learning through play using everyday materials.
