VIRTUAL Quality Outdoor Interactions
“Building Strong Educator-Child Connections in Outdoor Environments”. The outdoors presents unique opportunities for child-led exploration, social connection, and inquiry-based learning—but it also requires intentional adult engagement to maximize learning potential. This class contains introductory information about high quality teacher-child interactions, drawing on information from the Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS). Through interactive discussions, small-group reflection, and opportunities to practice instructional support skills, participants will leave with concrete strategies for enhancing the quality of their meaningful, responsive interactions with children in outdoor learning environments. After registering for class, a link will be sent to register in Zoom. @public
