Child Care Action Council is committed to providing you with the highest possible standard of service. The following policies were designed to assist you in making informed decisions when using our site, products, and services.

Professional Development and Class Policies:

Class Fees
Please pay for your class at least 48 hours in advance; our instructors do not accept payments at class. This policy helps us decide whether we have enough participants to hold the class as planned. (Classes are usually cancelled if at least five people have not registered and paid.)

Late Arrival Policy
Please arrive to class a little early to minimize disruptions and to respect the trainer’s plan for the class. In accordance with ethical issues around giving STARS credit, if you arrive 15 minutes late you will not receive full credit for the class and cannot be issued a refund.

No Children in Classes
Our classes are designed for adults, so children are not permitted to attend our classes. This minimizes distractions for everyone.

Class Cancellation & CCAC Office Closure
We post class cancellations on our website and also usually call or email all class registrants to notify them of a cancellation. CCAC follows the weather closure decisions of North Thurston School District. If the district announces school closures or delayed openings, CCAC offices are also closed or delayed.

Refund Policy
For a full refund of class fees, please call our Provider Services line at 360-754-0817 to cancel your registration by 12:00 p.m. the day before your class. If calling after hours, or if you reach voicemail, leave your name, phone number, the class title and the class date. There are no refunds for cancellations after the noon deadline. If a class is cancelled by CCAC, or is rescheduled to a date you cannot attend, you will receive a full refund.
